Welcome to my page of crap. Its not much to look at but I am feeling very anti-glitz at the moment and have thrown all the fancy flash animations and such crap into the crapper. This is just a site for storing and linking my crap. How often it will be up dated is a crap shoot.... basically whenver i give a crap about doing it.

Ceptacemia's UT 1999 GOTY edition server is probably NOT running anymore, we have moved on to UT2004 but in case we say we are gonna play the old one, this info will help you get up and running. In multiplayer games tab, pick any tab and right click the window and choose "open location" and type in:
bad-ass-mother-fucker.com
and you will be all ready to go! Note you WILL need to have installed the 2nd free bonus pack also knows as Digital Elements pack (like 2.5 megs) you can get it -> here <-

UT2004 is the next level we will be playing. You can download it via torrents (if you dont have a Torrent client get it from the link below in the "Other Tools" section)
Step 1: Acquire the game
Option 1: Buy it. (either from a store or online) Steam sells it for $15 USD
Option 2: Download it via torrents -> here <-
Option 3: Ask me on vent about this option.
Step 2: Install it. If you dont know how to install a game at this stage of the game... burn your computer. When asked install it to c:\UT2004.
Step 3: Update to 3369 with this patch -> here <-
Step 4: Grab the online patch -> here <- and extract the 2 .dll files to your ut2004/system/ folder.
Step 5: Get the Gunreal mod -> here -< (its a simple installer just run and point to your UT2004 directory).
Thats it! Now to run UT 2004 you just go to the system folder and run the executable. To run Gunreal go to the ut2004/Gunreal/ folder and run Play.Bat
These updates and everything are MUCH easier than the previous UT, just click and go.
If you are interested in trying out other UT2004 mods for us to play together, perhaps when no one else is online, browse -> this <- site and check some out and let us know which ones rock and which suck and we cant try em out together!
Other Tools you will need:
-> uTorrent <- If you dont have a torrent client you wont be able to download the torrent.
-> Daemon Tools <- You will need this to mount the DVD as a virtual drive so you dont have to burn it. |

Our latest adventures in the universe are basically the same as they have been for a long time now... the utter destruction of the cancer that is Goonswarm. Most of our attention has been focused on 49- system, and the lag has been horrific. Lagfighting skills are bieng tested to thier limits as 1400+ pilots cram on to a server and crash the node. You would think that they would limit the number of players in a system to something thier servers can handle, but that doesnt seem to be the way of CCP...
So onward thru the lag my friends! |
